Editorial: Ask, but don’t answer

His campaign says you can "Ask Mitt Anything," but not if you're medical marijuana user Clayton Holton.

Holton, who suffers from muscular dystrophy and uses a wheelchair, created another YouTube moment for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney this week. In front of a bank of video and still cameras, Holton asked Romney if he should be arrested for using medicinal marijuana.

"I have the support of five of my doctors saying I am living proof that medical marijuana works," Holton told Romney at a campaign stop in New Hampshire.

"Will you arrest me and my doctors if I get medical marijuana prescribed?" he asked. "Will you have me arrested?"

Romney moved away in a hurry, murmuring, "I'm not in favor of medical marijuana."

"Excuse me, will you answer my question?" Holton said as the former Massachusetts governor looked for someone else to talk to.

"Hi," Romney said to the next person in line. "Nice to see you."

So you can ask Mitt anything, just don't expect an answer.
